Does anyone know if Lay Notories are allowed in the UK? I have contacted the Arch Bishop of Canterbury's office , they say that they have never heard of one?

Deny the existence of something that is recognised especially in the USA as "lay notaries".....there is a strong smell of fish.

My thoughts exactly, if they don't like the question say it doesn't exist, so is there a Lay Notary? It would bugger up the nice little set up as it is.

Why not fire off an email to an american lay notary...I suspect it is the cut down version of the full job....I distantly remember listening to an audio about their quickie notary courses.

Fidach has limited notarial capability.....see my posts on the animal

That's where I have seen it, but how can we get it
into our system, with extreme difficulty I would imagine?

I don't think you can unless it is already on offer....which it isn't

In my humble opinion, the words expressed in the American declaration of Independence are relevant and that is why I have seceded from the UK.

When the tyrant doesn't listen......leave.

Here is some good stuff on the subject
