veronica, I have in my possesion a set of authentic italian number plates, ( my car is an alfa) I am going to keep my UK ones on until my tax disc expires in may, then I might just take you up on your offer, the windows are fairly dark tinted and the fact that the car is right hand drive might go un-noticed to the untrained eye, I try not to draw attention to myself anyway. The chassis number will be removed too. The car will be parked at a discreet location most of the time. I will maintain the car to a high level, as I always do, and may even carry on with MOTs, but the identity of the car could be a problem here. I am going to use my van as my primary transport anyway, but still havent decided what style of plates to use for the van, maybe irish, but I have the suspicion that irish plates can be traced easily by british authorities, Cyprus might be another option (right hand drive).
