Thanks, Kevin. Unfortunately, my files are too big for direct upload - but I think I have found a solution for now....

Hiya all

Finally sorted :phew:
Not sure if I should have posted these in a new topic so please feel free to move if they would be better somewhere else. These were my first notices apart from annoying various bank staff so if they are going over ground people are already well versed in apologies. The reason Ive posted them is in the hope they contain info that people might find usefull in future fun with the DVLA. The first was a straight copy from TPUC but the second I got more into the swing of things and was very interested to find out that I owed the DVLA nothing, the suppossed debt was to The Crown. Learnt loads more of what not to do since joining this forum. Big thanks to everyone. Anyway after hours of pissing about with scanners and photobucket finally my good mate Jerry found this soloution so here they are, Cormac :sun:
Dont know if someone in admin would like to tidy up this topic as we tried and failed miserably. Thanks if you can

They really are full of shit aren't they!

The offer of contact is obvious even they though they deny there is any. Does this mean that they have entered into dishonour? My next notice will be directly to Noel Shamahan asking him to state on his oath( I presume he must of taken one?) that there is no offer of contract amongst other things. The part that really interested me tho was the admittance that my supposed debt was owed to The Crown. I am thinking of sending the DVLA a rebuttal notice to keep out of my buisiness if thats the case coz this means the DVLA is only a debt collection agency for the corporation known as The Crown so all futre penalty notices issued by them can also recieve a rebuttel notice. Does this make sense. I will also be asking who to address all future notices to at the corporation known as the Crown. Dont know where this will take me but it will sure be fun!! Cormac :sun:

my foi i got from vehicle certification agency

Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request addressed to
the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) about the Private/Light Goods
taxation class. It has been passed to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing
Agency (DVLA) for reply and is being dealt with as part of our day to
day business.

Vehicle registration and licensing is governed by the Vehicle Excise
and Registration Act 1994 (as amended).

Classification for taxation purposes depends upon the construction of a
vehicle and the use to which it is put on the public road.

It is not possible to license a vehicle in the "private use" taxation
class as no such taxation class exists.
