After sending a rebuttal letter to DVLA and getting a 'We will make enquiries' letter a week later on the 21st May,2009 I got this from them:

They must have had a shit-load of rebuttals 'cos it looks like they're getting their act together.

:thinks: hmmm the ending "we must apply the law in a constant manner if it is to remain effective" interesting aye

also the commas means that there is different meanings behind the word!i had this barney with work due to me not being told what they meant by signing a 'informed consent' form i kept asking them how can i sign a informed consent form when firstly you avoid like the plague the words informed consent secondly they have different meanings behind them hense the commas!its funny the manager really doesnt like it when people come in asking about things like that she expects them to be good little sheep  personally id double check the meanings that have been used usually in the act's themselves they will have a tiny 1,2,3,4,5 at the end to point out the exact meaning to the term
