i have been reading some stuff written by elizabeth becket with regard to local authority's having the power to depose\oppose acts of parliament under oaths of allegiance.

mentioned in her writing she states it is probable that Common Purpose is operating in you area and that councils cannot take taxes for an organisation that cannot achieve an audit. It is illegal under the Local Government Act 1972.

is this all councils?
does the 72 act still apply?
have this act been amended? (i have not found any such amendments as yet)

i haven't finished reading as yet so the answers may get to me before any members do, but do post.
