Law Firms

Law Firms

Postby KentB » Sun Apr 20, 2014 10:22 am

Does anyone here know about this.

Some years ago I came across a tip, from Ireland I think.

It had to do with requesting some information from a law-firm that they were obliged to provide and that they also needed to inform the Law Society about (that such a request had taken place) which could negatively affect their standing within the Law Society. I cannot find this now in my poorly organized folders of "useful stuff".

I wonder if anyone here knows what I am talking about, and has this info. Am dealing with some lawyers that are attempting to get a Charging Order on the property I own with my wife for an old Credit card "Debt" of hers. I though this might be one more good point in my arsenal to make them back off.

Cheers

I found the answer in case anyone needs to use this.

Request their Professional Indemnity Insurance details.

That's it.
