It was all in the first line praj, "to all those who partake".
You do not partake.
While your ditty is very true, it surely deserves a place of its own.
Me and mine, we celebrated the solstice, where we did not enter into the world of commerce, we did not think of ourselves.
We did think of all those less fortunate than ourselves.
We did give thanks for what we have received and are yet to receive.
We have already entered the new year and with much to do to help where we can those that suffer.
Christmas pretty much passed us by as was our want, but many enjoy the christian festive period and wether right or wrong to do so, i wish them all peace and love which was the point of the thread, to all those who partake to wish each other peace and love at this time.
