I am posting this on here because it worked for me today. A doctor onTV said " To have inner peace, we must always finish the things we start and it will create more calm in our lives". So I looked around my dwelling to find things I had started and hadn't finished, so I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bottle of Baileys, a botle of run, the remaindeer of valiumprescriptuns, an a box of chocletz. Yu haf no idear how fablus I feel rite now. Sned this to all who need inner piss. An telum u luvum. And two al hve a marry crispmouse.

Namaste brethren and sistren. :peace:

BAH! HUMBUG!!

Postby Prajna » Tue Dec 27, 2011 7:37 pm

BAH! HUMBUG!!

'twas the night before christmas and all round the house
nothing was moving, not even a mouse.
(and if you think this story has a nice end...
just sit there and listen to *this* my dear friend):
On the night before christmas it isn't like this -
the children are not tucked up safe and in bliss -
the children are starving and living in fear
and not looking forward to any new year.
The parents in England are stressed at the thought
that Johny won't like all the presents they bought.
The children in Europe and U. S. of A.
are dreaming of Santa and how they will play,
without any thought of the millions who fight
to put food on the table and sleep everynight.
So peace to all men, if you're that way inclined,
but I insist christmas is all in the mind.

It was all in the first line praj, "to all those who partake".
You do not partake.
While your ditty is very true, it surely deserves a place of its own.

Me and mine, we celebrated the solstice, where we did not enter into the world of commerce, we did not think of ourselves.
We did think of all those less fortunate than ourselves.
We did give thanks for what we have received and are yet to receive.

We have already entered the new year and with much to do to help where we can those that suffer.

Christmas pretty much passed us by as was our want, but many enjoy the christian festive period and wether right or wrong to do so, i wish them all peace and love which was the point of the thread, to all those who partake to wish each other peace and love at this time.
