Trouble obtaining a replacement passport

Trouble obtaining a replacement passport

Postby Culdee » Mon Apr 06, 2009 2:35 pm

Hi,

It seems that I can't obtain a passport without submitting to an interview at an "interrogation centre". I have had two passports before - both now expired. Passport Office *say* they have no records of these passports. I do not wish to go for any interrogation - as a born and bred British subject aged 64 with no convictions and with much cocumentary proof of "who I am".

Regards,
Culdee

Yes this interview thing is a farse, especially the further north you live.

How on earth can they have no record of 2 previous passports, and they expect us to trust them with ID cards....we should travel with our birth certificates, what else do they need to know....alternatively what do they need to know....a gas bill as proof of address.

A few years back, i got through passport control with hardly breaking step with an Aussie passport, whilst the brits cued.

Hi Culdee,

welcome to the forum. Have you not got your previous passports, to show them, as proof?

There should be no need for interrogation if you show them such.

Here's a link to the interview offices :

They seem to be treating this as a first time application hence the interview :

It might help if you can give them the details on your passport (apologies if this is stating the obvious and you probably have already done this - which leads me to think you don't have the passports ??)

Hi,

Many thanks for your replies. Yes indeed, I have lost/mislaid my two earlier passports.
I have completed all the necessary forms, plus two verified photos. It seems I have to suffer as the Passport Office records are "not fit for purpose".

At age 64 with many *proofs* of my identity, I am to say the least furious.

I appreciate your comments and advice.

Regards,
Culdee.

I had exactly the same trouble when I applied. I'm now 64 and had two passports in the past, but so many years ago I have no idea where they are.

I just gave up in the end because my reason for travelling 'went away'. So I could not be bothered to pursue it.

I believe Rob: Menard & Co, at the World Freeman Society, are supposed to be working in this one.

(Yes ... I'm furious at this, as well)

I suggest we bring down the entire House of Cards by lawful rebellion, and then everything else comes out in the wash. It has taken them hundreds of years of deception to get this far, and so wiping it away won't happen in one day. Just keep on keepin' on ... is what I do.

Hi,

Just to say that I have today obtained my new passport WITHOUT having to attend an interview.
I stated my views concerning Common Law, Magna Carta, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Rights which seemed to do the trick.

Many thanks for your help and advice.

Slainte,
Culdee.

Congratulations Culdee. :)

I'm interested to know if were there any differences from your last passport? Was there anything different written on it?
