Black's Law dictionary is bloody expensive, even on ebay it's £80, there is a downloadable version, maybe we could all chip in for that, and upload it to the forum for reference?

I've actually ordered 8th Edition in book form.

I have the 2nd Pocket Edition and it's rubbish. (So is Osborn's, btw)

I'd be perfectly happy to buy a digital version and upload it ... provided it has what we need. There is a digital version of the 8th Edition available. If the paper version is what we need (should arrive any day now), I'll arrange it all.

Wouldn't it be ABSOLUTELY SOOOOPER if they charged me with breach of copyright!? (Imagine the irony of using their own words against them!) (The Law of Unintended Consequences?)

I've got the EIGHTH (latest) edition on order. Should arrive any day now. But that's paperback, not digital.

There seems to be a lot of listings for the 'digital' version but - when you look closely - it says 'hard cover' or 'paperback'.

Also, there are so many versions around, and quite often they don't quote the edition.

And then there's Pocket Editions. I have a 2nd Pocket Edition and it tells me 'legal' = 'lawful' (and vice versa). Not much help.

I assume that everyone (else) is quoting the latest (8th) Edition.

I've asked one supplier about the digital version, but not received any reply. I will ask Amazon.

Black's Law Dictionary, in short, is a bloody minefield. It really is hard to determine precisely what you are buying. (Trust me, on that one)
