Success for a freind

Success for a freind

Postby billathome65 » Sun Jul 08, 2012 6:51 pm

I wrote some time back of a utility company attempting to charge a freind for power they said she had used when in fact she had not lived in the address on those months and had never contracted with them.

Anyway when she told me what was happening she was very worried as even though she had explained the situation they passed the case to a debt collector . I told her what to do and say to these parasites and they went away a few weeks latter a letter from a solicitor threatening court action however the solicitor was also connected to the debt company so again she contacted them and threatened taut think that's how its spellt for harassment and demanding money with menace they quickly disappeared and for two months all was quiet then a phone call from another debt collector who had bought the debt stupidly so my friend went back to stage one explaining she did not ask them to buy debt bla bla and shoved in stage to for harassment.

Anyway 8 months down the line no further call and she's a happy bunny.

Just thought i'd share this as it was this forum that opened my eyes to this stuff.

Cheers
