Employee contract

Postby Johnvtr » Mon Mar 11, 2019 9:54 pm

Hi all I've been trying to amend my old original work contract,it's been 2 years now and to no avail.Since then two other contacts have been introduced. All of which have sick pay which mine doesn't,Also the pay has been increased,My question is it legal for my company to employ new starters on more money than what I am currently on and the added benefit of sick pay to which I get ssp, I've raised a greviance with the company but being fobed off which I do not take lightly ,Any advice or guidance would be more than welcome. Cheers

Hi Johnvtr

Sorry buddy, i have never had reason to look at employment law so i can't help you in that respect - which is not to say someone else here won't be able to help you.

If you don't fancy studying relevant legislation you might wish to take advice from a solicitor specialising in the subject, i believe you can usually get a free consultation.

Alternatively you could try somewhere like 'goodfforumotion' as i know there is at least one expert on employment law there.

Cheers!

Thank you for your advice ,I feel as there are more and more laws applied ,This can only mean more grey areas and loopholes to be exploited, cheers for your help .
