Hi FS

The notice informs the people you need to inform, and should be placed anywhere where it would increase that liklihood...in this case the door is an excellent place to do it...no excuse not to have seen it.

You can claim what ever you wish to claim for whatever reason you wish to claim it...it may be with the expectation to gain monetary reward, it may be to warn those that would infringe against you DON'T....and it informs those that still wish to infringe that they have accepted your terms and there now exists an agreement (a contract)

Hi HR,

All granted and understood. My point was that the £50,000 claim was for "personal property ... being taken away from an occupant within the four corners beyond this threshold" and the sign, which was the personal property being taken, was not "beyond this threshold" was it? It was outside the threshold when it was taken. Therefore the cleaner would only be liable for the £1,000.

Am I right or am I missing something?
